Film & Cook Festival 2013 gathers foodies and film lovers to enjoy and discuss cinema and gastronomy.
Film & Cook Festival 2013, which takes place during this month in Madrid and Barcelona, offers you an amazing experience in terms of artistic enjoyment, where film and cookery are considered as an art.
Do you love cinema? And food? Have you thought to enjoy them together? I am not talking to eat some popcorn while you are watching a film in the cinema. I am talking of something else. I am talking about Film & Cook Festival 2013.
The aim is to promote films, documentaries and short films related to gastronomy and to make people aware of the importance of nutrition. Film directors like Isabel Coixet, from Spain, Atsunori Kawamura, from Japan; Onno Gerritse, from Holand or Romain Bolzinger, from EEUU, amongst other directors form Finland, Greece or Iran will show their works.
Audience will have the chance of knowing the most Spanish famous kitchens and how chefs work behind. Even they will find out new artistic experiences as “Mugaritz BSO”, a gastronomic and musical project that chef Andoni Luis Aduriz and musician Felipe Ugarte carried out to traslate a culinary work into a musical emotion. Or “El Somni ”, a unique film where 40 artists took part in a dinner, organized as an opera, with twelve dishes cooked by the Roca brothers (El Celler de Can Roca, three Michellin stars).
